ALISAL FIRE GROWS TO OVER 3,000 ACRES

The Alisal Fire in Santa Barbara has now grown to about 3,000 acres and is 0 percent contained. The fire is being pushed by strong gusts of wind and is growing at an alarming rate. Smoke from the fire is visible across most of southern Santa Barbara County. Evacuation orders are in place for many areas in the region, and at least 125 personnel have been deployed to tame the fire.
